There are so many ways that we are able to help you. We customize our services based your individual business needs. Whether you're a chapter officer, executive, author/speaker, book publisher, real estate agent or busy scholar, we guarantee that there's at least one task that we can help you with!
Contact us to schedule a free phone consultation to determine the tasks that you need the most assistance with, and we'll offer helpful suggestions on how we can best accomplish them. If they sound good to you, we can test the waters on a starter project, possibly adding hours in an ongoing relationship. We're sure we can show you how virtual assistance will make your life easier.
Our niche consists of providing technology support. We specialize in workflow design—helping organizations and individuals streamline their work through the use of computers. We love work processes at JETERACTIVE; picking it apart, analyzing it, coordinating it, ultimately transforming it into a smooth operation that is intuitive for the user. We feed our need by providing office organizational services, building websites, and coordinating small events and activities.
We offer 8, 24, 40 and 56-hour retainer options. (“Retainer” means that our clients will consistently pre-pay for a block of services each month.) We work with retainers because we believe a long-term, collaborative client/virtual assistance relationship is ideal. This way, over time we are able to anticipate your needs, make suggestions and help grow your business more effectively.
Retainer hours are provided on a "use them or lose them" basis--unused hours do not carry over to the next month. We'll work with you to determine the right amount of hours for your needs, but once the retainer is under way, it's your ultimate responsibility to use the amount of hours you've purchased for the month.
At the start of a new client relationship or project, we send our client a work agreement that states in writing the terms we've agreed upon (i.e. type of service, price, deadline if applicable, method of payment, etc.) and includes a copy of our client policies and rates. After you read it over, you sign and fax it back to us, keeping a copy for your records as well. We find that this keeps both parties on track regarding project details.
We use PCs primarily, and we use Windows 2000 operating system and above. I use Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for word processing, email & scheduling, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (for graphics creation) and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX for web design. I use Microsoft Access to manipulate data and I program in several languages, including PHP, Javascript, Perl and many flavors of SQL.
The advantage of virtual assistance is that it keeps your small business overhead (such as office space, equipment, etc.) down--but if you occasionally need one of us on hand to complete certain tasks or projects, we can be available for limited time periods as our schedule permits. Please contact us for more info. (Please note that billable hours include travel time, and appointments are pre-paid based on a pre-agreed assistance time.)
Bookkeeping/accounting is not on my list of services offered, for example. However, if I can't perform a service because it's not included on my list (or because I don't have room to accept new clients at the time), I'd be more than happy to refer you to someone among my large network of virtual assistant colleagues.
